The use of the armband is recommended after surgical mastectomy operations. They are also suitable for vein insufficiency, in cases of soft lymphedemas, post traumatic and post-operative edema, polyarthritis thickening of the tissues and for the treatment by elastic compression for the upper limbs burn and extensive scarring. The use of the armband is contraindicated in presence of allergic reactions (pain or skin irritations), inflammation and unreduced lymphedema.
